Add a "Listen to this article" button to your posts. Visitors press it and hear the post read aloud.

== Description ==

TTSMP3 Listen Button turns your posts into audio with natural voices in dozens of languages. There is nothing for your readers to install: they press the button and listen.

* Works with any theme. The button goes above or below your posts, or anywhere with the [ttsmp3_player] shortcode.
* Choose the language, voice, speaking style, button text and colour from drop-down menus.
* Hide the button on individual posts.
* The audio is prepared when the first reader opens a new or edited post, so it is usually ready before anyone presses play. Everyone after that gets it instantly.

== Installation ==

1. Upload the plugin zip under Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin, then activate it.
2. Create a free account at https://www.ttsmp3.ca and, on your account page under "Website player", add your site's domain.
3. Copy the player key (starts with pk_) into Settings > TTSMP3 Listen Button and save.

== External services ==

This plugin uses the TTSMP3 service (https://www.ttsmp3.ca) to make the audio. When a visitor presses the button, the text of the post and the page address are sent to TTSMP3 to be converted to speech. Once a day, and when the plugin is activated, set up or deactivated, it also sends TTSMP3 your site address, your player key and the plugin and WordPress versions. Terms: https://www.ttsmp3.ca/terms. Privacy: https://www.ttsmp3.ca/privacy.
